Wooden pot was taken as they ate at beach-side restaurant
The pair had the wooden pot in a suitcase which was taken from their car as they ate outside a beach-side restaurant.
Police on the Mediterranean island said the thieves smashed the passenger’s side window and grabbed the couple’s suitcases, which also contained 200 euros (£170).
In the appeal for information, authorities added that the urn had the inscription “Dennis 2000-2019″.
The break-in happened on Friday while the unnamed couple – who live in Poland – visited the popular Governor’s Beach area on the island’s southern coast.
